BTS's Jimin Becomes 1st Korean Artist To Hit 100 Million Streams On SoundCloud

BTS’s Jimin has made SoundCloud history once again with his self-composed track “Promise“!

Last month, SoundCloud confirmed that Jimin’s self-penned song “Promise” had broken Drake’s record for the highest number of streams on the platform within the first 24 hours of a song’s release.

Just 42 days after its release on December 31, “Promise” has gone on to surpass 100 million streams, making it the most-streamed song by any Korean artist in SoundCloud history.

Jimin has previously opened up about the personal struggles that inspired him to write the song, as well as the emotional changes that led him to drastically alter the message of the lyrics.
