Honey Lee Shares How Much Effort Kim Nam Gil Puts Into His Action Scenes For "The Fiery Priest"
Kim Nam Gil will be showcasing his fighting skills on SBS’s “The Fiery Priest”!
On February 15, Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, and Kim Sung Kyun guested on SBS Power FM’s “2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show” to promote their new drama “The Fiery Priest.”
While describing the drama, Honey Lee said, “Kim Nam Gil does most of the action scenes. He’s surprisingly good at it,” to which Kim Nam Gil retorted, “Why is it surprising?”
Honey Lee explained, “Doesn’t Kim Nam Gil normally have a pretty boy image, rather than a burly one? But he moves his body very well.”
Kim Nam Gil added, “There really are a lot of action scenes. I got injured a lot too,” and Honey Lee agreed, saying, “He did get injured often. I bet none of his fingers are perfectly well.”
“The Fiery Priest” is a crime investigation comedy about a hot-tempered Catholic priest named Kim Hae Il (played by Kim Nam Gil) and a foolish detective called Goo Dae Young (played by Kim Sung Kyun) who try to solve a murder case together, albeit rather clumsily.
