NCT's Jaemin To Star In JTBC Drama Special Based On Popular Webtoon

NCT’s Jaemin will be starring in a new JTBC drama special!

On February 22, JTBC announced that it would be adapting the popular webtoon “How to Hate You” (literal translation) into a one-act drama special. The original webtoon follows the dating adventures of Oh Miri, a college freshman who finds herself struggling to navigate love and friendship on campus.

Jaemin will be starring as male lead Han Dae Kang, a college freshman majoring in animation who enjoys reading comic books and is a skillful gamer. Although he appears brusque and indifferent on the outside, he turns out to be a thoughtful and sincere person who cares deeply about other people.

Kim Ji In, who recently starred in the web drama “Just One Bite,” will be starring as Oh Miri, while rookie actress Kim Yoo Jin will be playing her best friend Dasom. Rising star Lee Jong Won, who stole hearts in the recent web drama “Go, Back Diary,” will be playing the role of Go Eun Tae.

“How to Hate You,” which will be produced jointly by JTBC Digital Studio and video game developer NCSoft, is scheduled to premiere at the end of March.
