February Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 100 idol groups, using big data collected from January 22 to February 23.
BTS maintained their position at the top of the rankings this month with a brand reputation index of 17,649,617. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Not Today,” “Billboard,” and “ARMY,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “release,” “hustle,” and “concert.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 90.66 percent positive reactions.
BLACKPINK rose to No. 2 on this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 9,004,399 for February.
Meanwhile, in their very first appearance in the rankings, JYP Entertainment’s new girl group ITZY made a splashy debut at No. 3, scoring a total brand reputation index of 6,788,007 for the month.
TWICE and EXO rounded out the top five for February at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
