VIXX's Ravi Explains Why He Chose Chungha To Feature In His Newest Track

VIXX’s Ravi has shared his thoughts on collaborating with Chungha for their new track “live”!

On the February 24 broadcast of EBS radio show “Listen,” VIXX’s Ravi appeared as a guest. Chungha introduced him by saying, “He is a senior that I wanted to invite to my radio show because the track that we recently worked together on is really good.”

In response, Ravi said, “I’m really thankful that Chungha so readily agreed to work with me. I wanted to do something in return, so I’m really happy to be able to appear on ‘Listen.'”

Ravi also explained why he asked Chungha to feature in the track. Ravi said, “I needed a voice that would alleviate the track’s dark atmosphere.” He continued, “I was certain that she would make the track shine brighter because I’ve always considered her a soloist with a great voice.”

When they were asked about each other’s first impressions, Ravi revealed that he saw Chungha for the first time when she was promoting as an I.O.I member. The VIXX member said, “I saw her for the first time through a performance of ‘Whatta Man.’ She was just a rookie, but she still carried a lot of energy with her.”

Chungha responded by saying, “When I was promoting as I.O.I, we went to the same hair salon [as VIXX]. Even when it was early in the morning, I remember them greeting me warmly.”

The two concluded the broadcast with Ravi delivering his words of encouragement to listeners. The artist said, “Even though you may be going through hard and uncertain times, have confidence in yourself. Then, you will see great results.”
