LOONA's Haseul To Sit Out Activities Due To Passing Of Grandmother
LOONA’s Haseul will be taking time away from activities as her maternal grandmother has passed away.
Her agency BlockBerry Creative released an official statement on February 26 and explained that Haseul’s grandmother had passed away on February 25. They stated that while participating in promotional activities for LOONA’s latest comeback, Haseul was told that her grandmother was in critical condition. She rushed to see her grandmother, who unfortunately passed away around the time Haseul reached her.
The agency stated, “Haseul returned to Seoul at night on February 25, and after the group’s pre-recorded stage of SBS MTV’s ‘The Show,’ Haseul will leave to attend the funeral for her grandmother. Therefore, Haseul will unfortunately be unable to participate in her scheduled activities for February 26, which included appearing in the live broadcast of TBS’s ‘Fact in Star,’ ‘The Show,’ and the live broadcast after ‘The Show.'”
Haseul will return to Seoul after her grandmother’s funeral, and the agency stated that they will share updates about her participation in future activities. BlockBerry Creative ended by stating, “Haseul is deeply saddened by the loss of her grandmother, who loved and cared for her from when she was young, and she will share her grief with family and close friends at the funeral parlor,” and “We send our deepest condolences. We would be grateful if you sent Haseul your comfort and support.”
We send our deepest condolences to Haseul and her family.
