"Infinite Challenge" PD Kim Tae Ho Reveals More Info About His Next Variety Show
MBC’s “Infinite Challenge” PD (producing director) Kim Tae Ho is getting ready to release a new variety program in the first half of 2019!
According to MBC on February 27, Kim Tae Ho gave the details on his new project to about 700 advertisers and related personnel at MBC’s advertisement sales presentation session.
PD Kim Tae Ho revealed, “I’m expecting to showcase a new program in the first half of the year. As a creative director, I’ll be helping my junior producers create [a program] with a new format that’s not ‘Infinite Challenge Season 2.'”
Kim Tae Ho also revealed a few details on the new program. He said, “We’re considering various ideas like North Korea’s cultural heritage, which would involve exploring North Korea’s attractions depending on the results of the North Korea–United States Summit, establishing a company with funds from citizens, lifestyle-related topics, and more.”
On the second season of “Infinite Challenge,” the producer said, “We’ve tried for two months to comeback anew, but the internal system wasn’t ready enough to meet the viewers’ expectations, so we currently can’t [produce the new season]. However, we’ll continue to try to return.” He added, “We’ve discussed many things including a program made for Yoo Jae Suk, so we’re thinking of how we should incorporate everything.”
On another note, the PD also revealed that he received a barista certificate while resting. Kim Tae Ho directed “Infinite Challenge” for 13 years, and he took a break at home and abroad after the program concluded last March.
