iKON's B.I Says He Wishes He Could Try Acting

iKON’s B.I expressed his dream of acting!

On February 27, the mentoring festival “MBN Y Forum 2019” was held at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul. Jang Dae Hwan, chairman of Maegyeong Media Group, Prime Minister Lee Nak Yeon, and Vietnam national football team coach Park Hang Seo attended the event. Original national MC Song Hae, female curling team “Team Kim,” and actors Lee Je Hoon and Soo Hyun, as well as idol group iKON were also present. This year’s theme was “Hakuna Matata, Start Now!”

When B.I was asked what he would have become if he hadn’t become a singer, he replied, “I would have done anything with my passion for music, but I’m not good at anything and I don’t want to do anything, so I’ve never seriously considered it.”

Then he added, “I want to try acting. I wanted to shoot a love scene. I really envy the way I see it on the screen. There are countless movies I envied. But I’m not good at it. It’s just wishful thinking. I want to devote myself to music,” making everyone laugh with his honest confession.

MBN Y Forum 2019 is a youth global forum designed by MBN and the leading economic newspaper Maeil Economic Newspaper to instill a dream, vision and spirit of challenge for the younger generation who will lead the future of Korea and it will mark its ninth anniversary this year.
