Lee Dae Hwi And ITZY's Yeji Share Thoughts On Reuniting After 3 Years

Lee Dae Hwi and ITZY’s Yeji have reunited for the first time since becoming idols!

On February 28, they held a V Live broadcast ahead of being special MCs for “M Countdown.”

About being a special MC for the first time, Yeji shared, “I am very nervous right now. A great opportunity was given to me, so I will work hard today.”

The two then spoke about their special connection. Yeji explained that they were JYP trainees together. Lee Dae Hwi revealed, “We are meeting for the first time in three years,” and Yeji added, “I am very glad to meet [Lee Dae Hwi] here.”

Lee Dae Hwi continued, “I felt happy as if I was the one who had debuted while seeing ITZY’s success. I watched your ‘M Countdown’ encore stage when you won, and my heart hurt to see you all cry.”

Yeji went on to thank fans for all of the love, and Lee Dae Hwi said, “I am also returning soon,” before asking Yeji, “You are going to cheer me on, right?” to which she responded, “Of course.”

“M Countdown” featuring Lee Dae Hwi and Yeji as MCs will air on February 28 at 6 p.m. KST.
