Lawyer Of Kim Jung Hoon's Ex-Girlfriend Reveals More Details About Her Pregnancy And Accusations

The lawyer of Kim Jung Hoon’s ex-girlfriend has responded to his official statement.

On February 21, Kim Jung Hoon’s ex-girlfriend filed a lawsuit at the Seoul Central District Court against Kim Jung Hoon. She stated that he had urged her to have an abortion after finding out about her pregnancy so that he could preserve his image. He allegedly promised he would provide funding for her housing, and the couple had found a house for her together. She accused him failing to fulfill his promise of paying a down payment and monthly lease of 10 million won (approximately $8,873). Instead, he only paid 1 million won (approximately $887) of the down payment before cutting off contact with her.

Kim Jung Hoon’s agency Creative Kwang then released a statement on February 28 stating that the singer found out about her pregnancy through an acquaintance and told his ex-girlfriend multiple times that he would take care of all aspects of raising the child if it was confirmed to be his. The agency explained, “However, peaceful conversations did not happen due to a difference of opinions,” and said that they would try their best to peacefully resolve the matter.

On March 1, the ex-girlfriend’s lawyer gave an interview to outlet News1. The ex-girlfriend was referred to as “A.”

They said, “‘A’ became pregnant while dating Kim Jung Hoon and she informed him directly, not through an acquaintance. She is willing to take a paternity test.”

In regards to the statement from Kim Jung Hoon’s agency which claimed that he found out about his ex-girlfriend’s pregnancy through an acquaintance, the lawyer stated, “It’s true that ‘A’ told an acquaintance before she told Kim Jung Hoon, but she told Kim Jung Hoon that night that she was pregnant. It’s being reported as if she told Kim Jung Hoon about the pregnancy after they broke up.”

The lawyer added, “It’s Kim Jung Hoon’s child. ‘A’ did not meet other men and will take the paternity test [that Kim Jung Hoon has requested] as many times as needed.” They also explained that “A” is going through a difficult time due to the malicious comments with misunderstandings and speculations about her, and warned that legal action will be considered if these malicious comments continue.
