Mnet's "Produce_X101" Begins Filming And Features Lee Dong Wook As New Host
“Produce_X101” is coming our way!
On March 4, a representative from Mnet announced that they have begun filming the fourth season of their popular “Produce 101” series today.
The source further explained, “The program is set to premiere in the first half of this year. We have yet to confirm the exact broadcasting schedule. We also cannot reveal the list of participants yet.”
It was also confirmed that Lee Dong Wook will be hosting the upcoming show as the next “representative of the national producers.” The role was previously played by Jang Geun Suk, BoA, and Lee Seung Gi in the first, second, and third seasons of “Produce 101.”
After announcing the launch of another season in November 2018, the program started recruiting individual male trainees with potential to become the next national idol group to follow the footsteps of I.O.I, Wanna One, and IZ*ONE in December 2018.
On February 27, the show also confirmed that the resulting group will sign a doubled length of contract compared to the previous groups, as they will promote together for a total of five years.
