Kang Daniel's Lawyer Shares Update On Dispute With His Agency

Kang Daniel’s lawyer has commented regarding his current position in his conflict with the agency.

On March 7, Kang Daniel’s legal representative Seon Jong Moon stated, “Kang Daniel wants to resolve [the conflict] with his agency as smoothly as possible so that he can resume his promotions.” The lawyer further said that the idol is not considering filing a lawsuit against his agency yet.

The initial reports of the conflict between Kang Daniel and his agency LM Entertainment came to light on March 3. Afterwards, the idol wrote a letter to fans to explain his side of the story and began a new personal Instagram account. In response, LM Entertainment denied the reports of Kang Daniel terminating his contract with the agency and expressed their desire to resolve all misunderstandings.

After concluding his activities with Wanna One in December 2018, Kang Daniel returned to his home agency to prepare for a solo debut. In January, the agency announced that he was aiming towards making a solo debut in April.
