Go Ara To Be Hospitalized For Treatment After Ankle Injury On Set Of "Haechi"

Following Go Ara’s ankle injury on the set of SBS’s “Haechi” on March 7, the actress’s agency, Artist Company, gave a more detailed update on her condition and treatment plans today.

Go Ara fell during a running scene, and after returning to Seoul from the film site, she received an examination on March 8.

Artist Company said, “Upon examination, it was found that [Go Ara’s] right ATFL (anterior talofibular ligament) was ruptured, and the situation is such that she will have to wear a cast and be hospitalized for treatment.”

The agency said that after monitoring the situation, they will be discussing matters of “Haechi” filming with the drama staff.

Closing, Artist Company said, “As everyone is concerned about [Go Ara], we will do our best to aid in her treatment and recovery so that she can return healthy.”
