On March 12, Jung Joon Young’s agency announced that the singer, who was in the United States filming the third season of “4 Wheeled Restaurant,” would be returning to Korea in order to cooperate with police investigations.
Later that day, a spokesperson for the variety show stated, “The [show’s] producers are currently in the process of formalizing their position on the issue of Jung Joon Young.” As for the news of Jung Joon Young’s sudden departure from filming, the spokesperson similarly commented, “We will be making a statement soon.”
Jung Joon Young traveled to the United States on March 3 to film “4 Wheeled Restaurant” together with Shinhwa’s Eric, Heo Kyung Hwan, John Park, and chef Lee Yeon Bok. However, he is returning to Korea after it was reported on March 11 that he had shared illegal hidden-camera footage of sexual activity in a group chat with other male celebrities.
