Red Velvet To Guest On Upcoming JTBC Dance Variety Show "Stage K"

Red Velvet will be appearing on upcoming global K-pop dance challenge variety show “Stage K.”

“Stage K” is a variety show that will feature K-pop cover dance competitions between K-pop fans from over 77 different countries. The contestants who pass local preliminaries will take on the actual rounds in Korea. Semi-finalists and finalists will be given the opportunity to perform on their dream stage with a K-pop star.

Every episode, a “dream star” will make an appearance. These stars will not only watch the performance battles, but they will also act as “global translators” that convey interpretations of each country’s culture. Red Velvet will be the first “dream star.”

The production staff stated, “Red Velvet is a girl group that has many charms from being cute to being refreshingly sophisticated. Contestants from many countries have fallen for their diverse image and have picked Red Velvet as their ‘dream star,’ so Red Velvet will be appearing in the first episode.”

“Stage K” is slated to air in early April.
