N.Flying Is Trying To Find The Person Who Posted About Their Song "Rooftop" Online
N.Flying talked about the unexpected popularity of their song “Rooftop.”
On the March 15 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” N.Flying performed and sat down for an interview as guests on the music show.
In February, N.Flying’s “Rooftop” unexpectedly rose to No. 1 on music charts a month after its release. The group went on to take their first-ever music show win on “The Show.” About this, N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub, who wrote the song, said, “It didn’t feel real when it became No. 1, but it feels real now that we’re at ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.'”
The band explained, “After a post was uploaded on an online community saying that this was a great song and that people should listen to it, the song charted at No. 97.”
Speaking about how they haven’t been able to find the person behind the original post, N.Flying said, “The site runs on anonymity, so we haven’t been able to find them yet. We really want to buy you a meal or give you concert tickets, so please meet with us.”
N.Flying also talked about how they’ve been promoting for five years, busked in Japan in front of two people, and went on hiatus for two years to find their band’s identity.
