Yoon Ji Oh Criticizes Lee Mi Sook And Song Sun Mi For Denying Knowledge Of Jang Ja Yeon's Case

On March 18, Yoon Ji Oh appeared on “Lee Sang Ho’s News Room,” a show on reporter Lee Sang Ho’s YouTube channel Gobal News.

Yoon Ji Oh is a witness to the late Jang Ja Yeon’s sexual abuse case in which Jang Ja Yeon was forced by her agency’s CEO to provide sexual favors to several men.

The show brought up Dispatch’s recent report that raised doubts about Lee Mi Sook’s testimony from 2009, in which she claimed she did not know Jang Ja Yeon. Actresses Lee Mi Sook, Song Sun Mi, Jang Ja Yeon, and Yoon Ji Oh were all under The Contents Entertainment in 2009. The report stated that Jang Ja Yeon was used by her manager Yoo Jang Ho and Lee Mi Sook for their battle against The Contents Entertainment and CEO Kim Jong Seung.

On the day Dispatch’s report was released, Lee Mi Sook stated, “I will look at the article,” and the next day, her agency Sidus HQ only said, “We have nothing to tell you.” Song Sun Mi responded to the report the day it was released and denied any knowledge of Jang Ja Yeon’s case.

Regarding the senior actresses, Yoon Ji Oh said, “I wish I could remember them as good seniors. I just wish they would reveal the truths they know. Did they say they didn’t know the deceased? That’s not something to be proud of. Just by working in the same office, people often say they’re all in the same boat, so saying they didn’t know her is just…” and could not continue her sentence.

She argued, “There’s a profile for the actors. They must have looked at it [at least] once. Jang Ja Yeon and I were the only rookies, and the others [at the agency] were all top actors. [Song Sun Mi] saying ‘I didn’t even know she was in the same agency’ shows a lack of basic manners as a senior.”

Yoon Ji Oh expressed her rage at Song Sun Mi recently stating, “I feel helpless when I see that my name has been mentioned needlessly.” Yoon Ji Oh said, “We’re mentioning your name because it needs to be.”

Reporter Lee Sang Ho added, “Lee Mi Sook and Song Sun Mi are seniors who are in a very important position to explain the relationship between former manager Yoo Jang Ho and Jang Ja Yeon. They were not mentioned needlessly.”
