Byun Yo Han No Longer Starring In Upcoming Space K-Drama

Byun Yo Han, who had been confirmed earlier this year to star in an upcoming drama called “City of Stars” (literal title), will no longer be a part of the project.

A source from Saram Entertainment, Byun Yo Han’s agency, confirmed the news on March 20, although no details were disclosed as to what happened.

“City of Stars” is a story of the love and ambitions of young people who dream of traveling to space. Byun Yo Han would have played Yoo Dong Ha, a former air force pilot who is now unable to fly and works as an aircraft mechanic after developing claustrophobia from an accident.

The first aerospace K-drama, “City of Stars” will be directed by Jang Jin of the films “Someone Special,” “Murder, Take One,” and “Guns and Talks.” The drama will be completely pre-produced, and is tentatively scheduled for broadcast in the second half of the year.
