TWICE And Red Velvet To Appear In Upcoming Sing-Along Variety Show "300 X2"

tvN’s “300 X2” has everyone excited to see their favorite stars.

“300 X2” is a variety show that aims to hold the greatest collaborations between musicians and fans through sing-along performances. After the successful conclusion of its first season, MC Kang Ho Dong will be returning to host the second season with an even bigger scale and a star-studded musician lineup.

In a newly released teaser, fans get lit as they scream, jump, sing along, wave placards and light sticks, dress to match their fan colors, and more for their favorite singers. MC Kang Ho Dong brings out the crowd’s energy, and the video shows glimpses of the artists who are to appear on the show.

The first season hosted a battle of two teams of musicians. This season, there will be no battles, but instead, one team of musicians will appear on each episode. 300 fans will be invited to the studio, where they will sing along to the songs sung by their favorite singers. Not only do fans have a chance to go to the studio to see their stars in person, but they also have the chance to pick which musicians, also known as “Wannabe Musicians,” get to appear in the show by voting online.

TWICE and Red Velvet have been confirmed for this season and will take over the stage with their addictive music and performances.

Producing director Kwon Sung Wook, who will be continuing the show from the first season, stated, “We’re preparing even stronger performances than the last season. With TWICE and Red Velvet to kick things off, we are planning on a strong lineup including the ‘Wannabe Musicians’ that viewers voted for. There will be an unprecedented amount of fun and touching moments as musicians and 300 fans collaborate.”

“300 X2” will air its first episode in May.
