"Village Survival, The Eight" PD Addresses Possibility Of Season 3
As the second season of “Village Survival, the Eight” came to an end this week, producing director (PD) Jung Chul Min shared his hopes for a third season of the show.
On March 22, SBS’s “Village Survival, the Eight 2” aired its final episode, which featured Apink’s Son Naeun as a special guest.
When asked he remembered most about the second season of the variety show, Jung Chul Min replied, “The cast members’ mystery-solving abilities. During every shoot this season, we were surprised by the members’ mystery-solving abilities, which exceeded the production staff’s expectations. Especially for the last shoot, the production staff came up with really difficult hints, so we were amazed and amused by how [the cast] managed to figure everything out.”
PD Jung Chul Min also remarked, “The response we got from viewers who said that they enjoyed watching Season 2 was a huge source of strength for us.”
He went on to express his desire to produce a third season of the show, commenting, “The cast members became close very quickly, in an incredibly short amount of time. Because of that, they had great chemistry [on the show], and I was also impressed by how considerate they were of one another.”
“I want to thank the entire cast and crew for working hard on the show,” he continued, “and I hope that we will be able to greet you again through Season 3.”
