Kang Ha Neul And INFINITE's Sunggyu Have No Major Injuries After "Shinheung Military Academy" Minor Car Accident

Some cast members for the army musical “Shinheung Military Academy” were in a minor car accident on March 26, and representatives have given an update.

The bus that the actors were riding in was in a minor collision on the way to the venue. The occupants were taken to be examined for any injuries, and the performance that day was canceled.

A representative from ShowNote said, “Thankfully, the actors’ injuries are minor. Nevertheless, we are checking their state at the hospital.”

Main cast members scheduled for the March 26 performance of “Shinheung Military Academy” were Go Eun Sung, Kang Ha Neul, INFINITE’s Sunggyu, Hong Seo Young, and Lim Chan Min. As is the case with many theater performances in Korea, the starring roles are double cast. Therefore while Ji Chang Wook, SHINee’s Onew, and Jo Kwon also star in the show, they were not scheduled for the performance that day.

Kang Ha Neul’s agency SEM Company stated, “Kang Ha Neul was not seriously injured. The show was canceled so they could receive examinations, since there might be unknown aftereffects because of the accident.” The agency also conveyed that the other actors had no serious injuries.

Sunggyu’s agency Woollim Entertainment stated, “We have received information on the accident from the army and the production company. We confirmed that there is nothing wrong with Sunggyu’s health.”
