PENTAGON's Yan An Talks About His Hiatus During Group's "Naughty Boy" Promotions

PENTAGON’s Yan An recently talked about his hiatus during the group’s promotions for their previous track “Naughty Boy.”

On March 27, the boy group held a showcase in Seoul for the release of their eighth mini album “Genie:us.”

During the event, Yan An stated, “I was disappointed because I couldn’t participate in the promotions for ‘Naughty Boy.’ During that time,  I had gone back to China due to health reasons, and I was resting near my parents. Even up until now, I always feel sorry to my members and our fans. That’s why I’ll try to do my best for these upcoming promotions.”

In response to Yan An’s comment, Hui added, “While Yan An prepared for this album, he put it in so much effort, to the point where I wondered if it was possible he could work that hard. When we practice together, there’s a time when we all dance one by one. It’s a time when the members can advise each other on what needs to be fixed. During that time, I almost cried when I saw Yan An dance.”

Jinho corrected him by joking, “Hui hyung didn’t almost cry, he cried his eyes out,” causing everyone to burst out laughing.
