gugudan's Kim Sejeong In Talks Play Leading Role In New KBS Drama "Let Me Hear Your Song"

We may be seeing gugudan’s Kim Sejeong in a new drama soon!

On March 29, it was reported that Kim Sejeong would be playing the leading role of KBS’s upcoming drama “I Wanna Hear Your Song,” which is slated to begin airing in August.

Her agency Jellyfish Entertainment responded to the reports by stating, “Although it is true that she has received an official offer for the role, a decision has not been made yet. She is positively looking over the offer.”

If she does accept the role, Kim Sejeong will play Hong Yi Young, an assistant timpanist in an orchestra who has been job searching for three years. The drama will be a unique and mysterious love story about a woman who can only fall asleep after listening to a tone deaf person sing, as well as the terrifying murder that is lost in her memories and the traces of a long-lost love she tries to find.

The drama is set to be helmed by producing director Lee Jung Mi and written by Kim Min Joo, who also wrote the 2018 KBS drama “Sunny Again Tomorrow.”
