"Infinite Challenge" Members Surprise Fans With Live Broadcast During Recent Reunion
On March 31, the “Infinite Challenge” members gathered for a reunion and marked the first anniversary since the show came to an end together. They also surprised fans with a live broadcast through the show’s official Instagram account.
Yoo Jae Suk began the broadcast by saying, “I don’t know how time flew by so quickly. It’s already been a year. We wanted to say hello to many people through a live broadcast since we have gathered already.”
He continued, “When we said goodbye on March 31 last year, I thought, ‘We would probably be able to say hello again in six or seven months at the earliest.” But tomorrow is April Fools’ Day and already one day past the one-year mark of our show’s finale.”
Jung Hyung Don and Noh Hong Chul, who couldn’t make it to the reunion due to schedule conflicts, delivered their greetings through videos.
Jung Hyung Don said, “I unfortunately couldn’t attend [the reunion] because I’m filming at the moment.” He added, “I hope you guys make good memories even though it’s only a short period of time, and I hope you have a great time.”
In response, Yoo Jae Suk revealed, “Just like [he did] in the past, [Jung] Hyung Don always sends text messages when he is very drunk. The next day, he would text me again to explain that he was drunk the night before.”
Noh Hong Chul said, “I’m excited. I think it’s been five years, but I dare say the words.” Then, he shouted out “Infinite Challenge” the way the members used to greet viewers in the show.
Noh Hong Chul explained, “March 31 is also a special day to me personally. It’s the day I was born into this world. I’m only able to say hello through a video because I’m in Japan right now.”
“I only have one thing to say,” said Noh Hong Chul before he kneeled down in front of the camera and continued, “I’m very sorry.” He concluded, “It’s a harsh world, but I hope you passionately challenge yourself. Both viewers and the members, have strength.”
Lastly, Yoo Jae Suk said, “I really hope to see you again as soon as possible. I hope that it happens sometime this year. Didn’t [Yang] Se Hyung and [Jo] Se Ho not get a chance to participate in [the show’s] music festivals?”
He concluded, “Many people around me ask me when we are resuming ‘Infinite Challenge,’ and I’m just thankful that there are many people waiting [for the show’s return]. If viewers continue to wait for us, we will return. We don’t know when it will be, but we will try.”
The members also shared some photos from the reunion. Check them out below!
