Song Ji Eun Leaves Haewadal Entertainment + KEMA Gives Update On Lawsuit With TS Entertainment

TS Entertainment has requested mediation regarding their dispute with Song Ji Eun over her exclusive contract.

Recently, an industry representative shared, “TS Entertainment has requested and applied for mediation over the dispute on Song Ji Eun’s exclusive contract with Korea Entertainment Management Association’s (KEMA) Disciplinary Mediation Ethics Committee (DMEC).”

On April 1, a source from the committee stated, “There was a dispute between TS Entertainment and Song Ji Eun regarding her exclusive contract, and we have received the request for mediation over the dispute. We are currently carrying out ethical deliberations within the managerial regulations. As we are in the middle of understanding the authenticity of all aspects of the dispute, [Song Ji Eun] cannot contact other agencies about exclusive contracts and related matters before the dispute has been settled.”

In addition, Song Ji Eun has parted ways with Haewadal Entertainment, which she signed with in January of this year. The agency commented, “The mutual decision was made to terminate the contract as we came to the conclusion that our directions are different.”

Song Ji Eun is not the only member wrapped up in a legal dispute with TS Entertainment, as Jun Hyosung filed a lawsuit and left the group. Song Ji Eun announced her departure from Secret and TS Entertainment in February of 2018.
