EXO's Chen Sweeps iTunes Charts Worldwide With Solo Debut

EXO’s Chen is topping charts all over the world with his solo debut!

On April 1, Chen made his highly-anticipated solo debut with his first mini album “April, and a flower,” featuring the emotional title track “Beautiful Goodbye.” Within hours of its release at 6 p.m. KST, Chen’s new song not only reached No. 1 on seven major realtime music charts in Korea, but his debut mini album also soared to the top of music charts all over the world.

As of 11 a.m. KST on April 2, Chen’s solo mini album “April, and a flower” had hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 32 different countries, including Sweden, Finland, Norway, Cambodia, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Israel, India, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mauritius, the Philippines, Qatar, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkey, Mongolia, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Indonesia, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Bulgaria, Laos, Ukraine, Colombia, Egypt, Singapore, Bahrain, and Oman.

“April, and a flower” also shot to the top of several major music charts in China, including QQ Music, KuGou Music, and Kuwo Music’s Digital Album Sales Chart. The music video for “Beautiful Goodbye” also rose to No. 1 on QQ Music’s music video chart.
