Police Reveal That There Are No Plans To Question "Hitmaker" Cast About Group Chat

The police currently has no plans to question “Hitmaker” cast members Kangin, Jeong Jinwoon, and Lee Chul Woo regarding participation in a chatroom with Jung Joon Young.

On April 4, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency revealed through a regular briefing, “Besides Roy Kim, singers Jeong Jinwoon, Kangin, Lee Jong Hyun, and Yong Junhyung and model Lee Chul Woo who are being mentioned regarding Jung Joon Young’s chatrooms are all classified as references or witnesses.”

The police continued, “Lee [Jong Hyun] and Yong [Junhyung] have completed witness questioning, and there are no plans to question the others.”

Previously, Kangin, Jeong Jinwoon, and Lee Chul Woo were rumored to be part of a chatroom with Jung Joon Young that spread illegal content. In response, Kangin’s and Lee Chul Woo’s agencies commented that the chatroom only existed for the purpose of the program “Hitmaker” and was deleted afterwards, while Jeong Jinwoon’s agency was unable to respond due to the singer being in the military.
