BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love" Scores Amazing Views In First 24 Hours
BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” MV has achieved an incredible number of views in the first 24 hours since its release!
The music video for “Kill This Love” was released on April 5 at midnight KST. A day later on April 6 at midnight KST, the music video had reached 49,852,930 views!
BTS’s “IDOL” is currently the Korean music video that holds the official record for the highest first day views in history. According to YouTube’s official count, the MV reached 45.9 million views in the first 24 hours after its release. For reference, the unofficial number of views (the number that was seen on YouTube before adjustments for the final tally) in the first 24 hours for “IDOL” was over 56.2 million.
BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” reached 36.2 million views in the 24 hours after its release last June, according to YouTube’s official count. It holds the record for the Korean girl group MV with the highest 24 hour view count confirmed by YouTube.
