Park Hyung Sik Revealed To Have Applied For Military Police; To Enlist Within Next Few Months
Park Hyung Sik has applied to serve as a military police officer of South Korea’s Capital Defense Command and is currently awaiting his results.
On April 6, news outlet Ilgan Sports reported that Park Hyung Sik had applied to serve in the military police department of the Capital Defense Command. According to the report, an industry insider claimed, “Park Hyung Sik will be going in for his second-round interview on [April 9]. If he is accepted, he will enlist on June 10.”
Park Hyung Sik’s agency responded by confirming, “If [Park Hyung Sik] is accepted to the military police department, he will carry out his military service at the Capital Defense Command.”
The agency also stated, “If he is not accepted, he is planning to enlist as an active-duty soldier at the end of May.”
Although Park Hyung Sik is currently preparing for his upcoming military enlistment, he plans to fully take part in all of the promotions for his first feature film, “Jurors,” which is scheduled to hit theaters on May 16.
