BLACKPINK Sets New Record As 'Kill This Love' Hits 70 Million Views

BLACKPINK is blazing ahead with their latest release “Kill This Love”!

At approximately 1:30 p.m. KST on April 6, BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” music video surpassed 70 million views on YouTube. As it was released at midnight KST on April 5, this means they were able to achieve this in approximately one day, 13 hours and 30 minutes.

This makes “Kill This Love” the fastest Korean group music video to reach the milestone. For girl groups, the previous record was five days, which was held by BLACKPINK’s previous release “DDU-DU DDU-DU.” The overall record was originally held by BTS’s “IDOL” at 2 days, 1 hour and 50 minutes, and now BLACKPINK has set a new benchmark.

This may be the fastest time to 70 million views for any artist’s MV on YouTube, however there is currently a lack of official sources that could confirm this.

Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
