BLACKPINK Continues To Set New Records As "Kill This Love" MV Surpasses 80 Million Views
BLACKPINK continues to set more records!
At approximately 6:50 p.m. KST on April 6, BLACKPINK’s latest music video “Kill This Love” surpassed 80 million views on YouTube. As the music video was released at midnight KST on April 5, this means the girl group was able to achieve this feat in one day, 18 hours, and 50 minutes.
This means that BLACKPINK now holds the new record for the fastest Korean group music video to reach 80 million views. The previous girl group record was also held by BLACKPINK at six days, 17 hours, and 53 minutes for their 2018 release “DDU-DU DDU-DU.” They have also broken the previous overall record that was set at two days, 23 hours and 16 minutes by BTS’s “IDOL.”
This may be the fastest time to 80 million views for any artist’s MV on YouTube, however there is currently a lack of official sources that could confirm this.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK on the great achievement!
