"Beautiful World" Starring Nam Da Reum And Kim Hwan Hee Premieres With Solid Ratings
JTBC’s newest drama “Beautiful World” is off to a promising start!
“Beautiful World” is about a young boy, who’s on the brink of death due to an incident of school violence, and his family as they pursue truth and justice in his name. The drama will tell the story of people who live with hopes for a “Beautiful World” despite living in a world full of lies, corruption, mistrust, revelations, and apathy towards others’ pain.
According to Nielsen Korea, the April 5 premiere of “Beautiful World” recorded average nationwide viewership ratings of 2.2 percent. This is slightly less than the viewership ratings of the premiere and finale of its previous drama “Legal High,” which recorded 3.3 percent and 2.6 percent, respectively.
As the follow-up to “SKY Castle,” “Legal High” started with viewership ratings in the 3-percent range and ultimately concluded in the 2-percent range. Although “Beautiful World” premiered without the help of its previous drama, many people are anticipating that the drama’s popularity will grow, as it has already drawn many positive reviews.
“Beautiful World” airs on Fridays and Saturdays at 11 p.m. KST. Check out the first episode with English subtitles below!
