Oh Sang Jin Reportedly Not Renewing With YG Entertainment After Contract Expiration
Entertainer Oh Sang Jin is reportedly leaving YG Entertainment after the expiration of his contract to start anew with a new agency.
In March 2017, Oh Sang Jin signed an exclusive contract with YG and worked with the company for two years. According to Sports Seoul, Oh Sang Jin’s exclusive contract with YG expired this March, and after discussions from both sides, Oh Sang Jin and YG have decided not to renew the contract.
In 2005, Oh Sang Jin passed MBC’s announcer exam and continuously showed his clean ability to host shows, gaining himself the nickname, “MBC’s representative announcer.” In 2013, he worked as a freelancer, appearing on Mnet’s “Dancing 9,” O’live’s “Korean Food War,” JTBC’s “Off to School,” and more. In addition to his activities as an MC, he took on acting by starring in SBS’s “My Love From the Star,” MBC’s “20th Century Boy and Girl,” and more.
Oh Sang Jin tied the knot with entertainer Kim So Young in 2017, and recently, the lovely couple announced that they were expecting their first child.
