Robert Holley Arrested On Suspicions Of Drug Use
TV personality Robert Holley (also known by the name Ha Il) has been arrested on suspicions of drug use.
On April 8, the Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency’s Cyber Crime Team stated that they have arrested Robert Holley at around 4:10 p.m. on suspicions of violating the Act on the Control of Narcotics, etc.
It is reported that Robert Holley is suspected of taking Philopon (a form of methamphetamine) at his home in Seoul after purchasing it online.
After the police received intelligence about this, they conducted an investigation, received an arrest warrant, and carried it out on April 8. It is said that Robert Holley has admitted to some of the suspicions.
The police may seek formal charges and detention for Robert Holley after questioning.
Robert Holley first worked in South Korea as a missionary in his early 20s. He obtained a degree in law from West Virginia University and later returned to Korea to work as a lawyer in Busan. He then became well known as he appeared on variety shows, and he is a naturalized citizen of South Korea.
Robert Holley is scheduled to appear on MBC’s “Radio Star” this week in the April 10 episode. The show has not yet issued a statement.
