Yoon Kyun Sang Responds To Messages Asking Him To Adopt Unwanted Cats

Yoon Kyun Sang posted a response on Instagram to DMs asking him to adopt their unwanted kittens with a request that people be more careful with adopting pets.

On April 11, he wrote, “I’m doing well. Thank you for worrying about me.” This is in response to his previous post about one of his cats passing away.

He continued, “I have been receiving a lot of DMs that ask me to adopt cats that they can no longer take care of because of allergies or other circumstances, or say that their cat had too many kittens, they don’t know what to do with them, and ask me to take care of one. You may not think of this as such… but this is also abandonment.”

He concluded, “Why did you start something that you could not take responsibility for until the end? If your siblings or children were sick, or too much to care for, or your circumstances became difficult, would you send them to other people as well? I ask everyone to once again think carefully before adopting pets.”

Previously, after appearing on “I Live Alone” with his pet cats, he asked viewers to think carefully before making the commitment to adopt pets. Two of his own cats were ones that had been returned by previous owners after they found that they couldn’t handle the responsibility.
