Despite their usual bickering, Joon Ki (played by Lee Yi Kyung) cares deeply for Jung Eun (Ahn So Hee), as he took charge of her part-time job when she was sick and encouraged her to rekindle her dream of becoming an actress again. In the previous episode, the two friends took on the challenge of acting as beggars, and viewers could sense a slight change in their relationship.

On April 16, “Welcome to Waikiki 2” released new preview stills of Joon Ki taking Jung Eun away from a date with a man at a villa.

His clothes imply that he ran to her as soon as he could without even changing out of his costume for filming. The rage in Joon Ki’s eyes indicate that something bad has happened to Jung Eun.
