BTS Scores Their Highest Debut Yet On Billboard's Pop Songs Chart With 'Boy With Luv'

BTS’s “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey has achieved their best success with radio airplay in the United States so far!

On April 16, Billboard updated its weekly charts including the Pop Songs chart that ranks the week’s most popular pop songs based on mainstream top 40 radio airplay detections measured by Nielsen Music.

BTS’s “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey has hit No. 35 on the chart! This is BTS’s highest debut among their four entries on the chart.

Most Billboard charts that reflect sales and streaming numbers are based on data from a Friday-to-Thursday cycle, which is why BTS’s new mini album “Map of the Soul: Persona” and title track “Boy With Luv” will be hitting Billboard’s sales and streaming charts next week, instead of this week. However, radio airplay charts follow a Monday-to-Sunday cycle, which allowed “Boy With Luv” to hit the Pop Songs chart after three days of airplay.

Congratulations to BTS!
