A Style Icon: BTS Member J-Hope's Best Street Style Looks

First things first: J-Hope has been serving looks since the very beginning of his career, and that, my friends, is a fact. While his style has definitely evolved since then, it’s clear he’s always had a thing for fashion. I mean, the rest of the members have called him the one with the most luxurious taste in clothes for a reason, right? And he proudly wears the crown, all while looking fabulous.

From renowned brands to independent designers, fun accessories, layers, and different textures, there’s absolutely nothing Hobi can’t pull off. For that same reason, we went forward and picked some of our favorite outfits from BTS’s sunshine, for inspiration or simply pure beauty appreciation.

White on white on white, errday

The great think about J-Hope is how he can turn the simplest of looks into a fashion statement thanks to little details. A pinch of color on his feet, a handbag, a touch of jewelry, and even the big headphones. They all come together to create an outfit we just can’t forget.

If there’s something J-Hope knows how to do well, it’s accessorize. He knows the power of a statement piece, and that was the case when this Fendi backpack he wore became a viral moment.

Back to the blue side

Making monochromatic fun? That’s a job for J-Hope. He’s all about oversized pieces lately, and he definitely knows how to combine them in order to stand out. A base color, different textures and prints, and of course a fun bag to go along and boom! You have a Hobi-worthy look.

Not saying that I dream about getting this coat since I saw J-Hope wearing it, but that’s exactly what I’m saying. J-Hope knows how to stand out from the crowd when at the airport and makes sure to turn the aisles into catwalks. Once again the king of oversized makes an entrance covering a simple black outfit with a statement coat, teaching us all how it’s done.

Another one for the books. All white, red Supreme bag, bucket hat… a combo made in heaven. He knows how to use his body as a frame for clothes, and he surely did when choosing this outfit. Isn’t it one of your favorites?

A black daydream

He’s the actual king of statement pieces, but it doesn’t mean he can’t do simple. An all black look becomes a Hoseok look in the details: the bag, the sneakers, the sunglasses, and even the headphones: it all sums up to turn a monochromatic outfit into a statement one.

J-Hope’s romantic world

Once again: details. Did you see the detail on that collar? The pants material? The handbag? The length and design of the sweater? What could be a simple OOTD at first glance is actually J-Hope’s more romantic/elegant taste in the form of clothes.

The baseline of his style

Can anyone in the world really pull off an outfit like this one except for J-Hope? I’m thinking, no. All-black, but make it fun: oversized pants, hyper-long belt, chunky sneakers, destroyed denim jacket, clear bag… this is one of the cases when Hobi’s attention to detail and layering talent pay off by bringing us a Rock & Roll look for the books.

Blue jeans, white T-shirt, white sneakers, black bag… up until then it all sounds very simple, but what if we add an embroidered flower jacket on top? It becomes a modern proclamation of airport fashion and proof that flowers on clothes are not just for women.

A good coat is a must-have piece in J-Hope’s closet, and we’ve seen proof of it. A simple color palette for a cold day plus a fun accent with the cap and round glasses. He knows how to serve looks every season, and that’s easy to see.
