AB6IX's Lee Dae Hwi Joins Close Friend Jeon Somi As Joint Brand Models For Fanta

Close friends Jeon Somi and AB6IX’s Lee Dae Hwi have been selected as joint brand models for Fanta!

The announcement was made on April 19 with a photo of the duo posing with bottles of the drink. Jeon Somi has been a brand model since 2017 and Lee Dae Hwi will be joining her as a new face of the drink. The two attended the same middle school and are known to be close friends, both also former trainees under JYP Entertainment, and the duo plans to share the message that Fanta is best enjoyed with friends.

Not only are the two friends close, but they also share another similarity, both debuted in project groups through Mnet’s “Produce 101” series. Jeon Somi appeared in the first season and became a member of I.O.I while Lee Dae Hwi promoted as a member of Wanna One after appearing on the second season. Jeon Somi is currently preparing for her solo debut while Lee Dae Hwi is set to debut as a member of AB6IX next month.

A spokesperson for Coca-Cola stated, “We brought on Lee Dae Hwi and Jeon Somi together because their history of going to the same middle school and training together fits with our brand image of being more energizing with other people,” and “We believe the close friends will showcase a refreshing chemistry that reflects the charms of Fanta.”
