Kim Seo Hyung Confirmed To Star In Reboot Of Horror Film Series "Whispering Corridors"
Kim Seo Hyung will be returning to the silver screen with upcoming film “Alma Mater” (literal title), a reboot of the popular Korean horror film series “Whispering Corridors.”
Kim Seo Hyung has taken on the leading role of No Eun Hee, a teacher who returns to her alma mater. Upon her return, the memories she thought were lost for good – due to a mysterious incident that happened during her school years – come back to haunt her.
Contrary to its prequels, the upcoming film will tell the story of a teacher instead of students, but it will continue to address various societal issues that arise at schools in real life.
Some of Kim Seo Hyung’s notable works include films such as “The Villainess” and “Late Spring,” and she recently impressed the public with JTBC’s “SKY Castle.” The actress also appeared in “Whispering Corridors 4: The Voice” as the music teacher Hee Yeon and contributed much to the alarming atmosphere of the film.
“Alma Mater” is scheduled to start filming at the end of June and aims to premiere sometime in the latter half of this year.
