"Superstar K2" Contestant Kim Geu Rim To Get Married This Spring

Singer Kim Geu Rim will be tying the knot this spring!

On April 19, Kim Geu Rim’s agency Kemical Soundz announced that she would be marrying her non-celebrity boyfriend in May. The agency stated, “Kim Geu Rim’s wedding will take place on May 3 at an undisclosed location in Seoul. After meeting through an acquaintance, Kim Geu Rim and her groom-to-be were in a beautiful long-distance relationship for two to three years. They recently sent out [wedding] invitations to their friends and family.”

The agency also revealed more information about Kim Geu Rim’s fiancé, stating, “After graduating from Berkeley and Harvard Business School, [Kim Geu Rim’s fiancé] worked in finance and media, and he is currently running an AR/VR-related film production company in the United States. He won an award at the Venice Film Festival for a film that he personally produced, and he was invited to the World Economic Forum two years in a row as a cultural leader. He is a businessman who is actively working as a promising producer.”

After appearing as a contestant on Mnet’s “Superstar K2” in 2010, Kim Geu Rim made her official debut as a singer in 2011. She has since released a number of albums and contributed to various OSTs, and she recently penned her own lyrics for her ballad “Still with You,” which she released in January of this year.
