Kim Jung Hoon's Ex-Girlfriend Withdraws Lawsuit Against Him
Kim Jung Hoon’s ex-girlfriend, identified hereafter as “A,” has withdrawn her lawsuit against him for loan violation.
On April 22, a source from Kim Jung Hoon’s agency, Creative Kwang, told NewsEn, “Recently, ‘A’ chose to cancel the lawsuit she had filed against Kim Jung Hoon. We do not know the details of why she chose to cancel it.”
Back in February, Kim Jung Hoon’s ex-girlfriend filed a lawsuit at the Central District Court against Kim Jung Hoon. In the lawsuit, she alleged that he had urged her to have an abortion after finding out about her pregnancy, and accused him of failing to fulfill his promise of providing funding for her housing and cutting off all contact with her.
Kim Jung Hoon’s agency responded three days later with a statement that said Kim Jung Hoon had been willing to take responsibility for the child but peaceful conversations did not happen due to a difference of opinions.
Back in March, “A’s” lawyer had stated that “A” was willing to take a paternity test and hinted at taking legal action against malicious comments and the spreading of misinformation.
The case between Kim Jung Hoon and his ex-girlfriend was picked up by the media in part due to the fact that Kim Jung Hoon had recently appeared on the TV Chosun variety program, “Taste of Dating,” in which he had told his onscreen partner, Kim Jin Ah, that he had not had a girlfriend for two years. In their statement, Kim Jung Hoon’s agency apologized to Kim Jin Ah and the production staff of “Taste of Dating.”
