Watch: BTS Shows How They Created "Map Of The Soul: Persona" Album Photos
BTS gave fans a look behind-the-scenes of their latest album’s jacket photos!
The group released their album “Map of the Soul: Persona” on April 12, and it is now the group’s third album to top the Billboard 200, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States. It also set an all-time sales record on Hanteo and surpassed 2.1 million copies sold within just a week.
On April 22, the group shared a jacket shooting sketch for the photos included in their album. It shows the guys having a good time on set and getting creative as they take the fun photos for the four different versions of their latest release.
V explained that the first concept is very free and youthful and RM said the second concept is related to stories of the god Dionysus, with the guys also acting as though they’re having a house party.
The third concept features BTS pretending to get ready in a bathroom, and J-Hope said they were supposed to appear as though they were fascinated by their own selves as they looked in the mirror. The final concept was described by Jimin as a unique kind of challenge for them, and he said they tried to get a bit closer to fans and show their cute sides.
