Watch: TWICE Celebrates One Year Anniversary Of "Idol Room" With Dance Party

TWICE visited “Idol Room” for the show’s first anniversary!

On the April 23 episode of the variety show, the girl group made a guest appearance after releasing their new song “FANCY.”

TWICE opened up the show by performing their hit songs “Cheer Up,” “TT,” and “YES Or YES.” After the performance, MC Jung Hyung Don explained how TWICE and “Idol Room” are entwined. He said, “TWICE is the first group to visit ‘Idol Room’ for the third time. They are also the first group to be here for two weeks.” Defconn shared, “I remember the first episode. They were so quiet that I wondered what we should do.”

The hosts also held a Q100 Questionnaire section as a special feature for the first anniversary of “Idol Room.” They used TWICE’s beverage vending machine, which was recently hit by a huge buying spree in Japan. Sana chose No. 12 first. The question was ‘the hottest topic in TWICE’s chatroom’. Jihyo answered, “Jeongyeon suggested we should clean up our belongings that have accumulated in our dorm,” and added that Sana is the most unorganized member in the group.

In addition, the members pointed to Momo as the member who reads messages but doesn’t reply to them. Sana revealed, “In our own group chat or the group chat we share with the label staff members, Momo says Korean is difficult and doesn’t read the messages. When we ask her about it, she confidently says, ‘I don’t know. I didn’t read it.'”

Momo explained, “There are over 200 messages in the chat room, and I can’t read all of them. Tzuyu is just as bad, too,” making everyone laugh.

During the show, TWICE affectionately mentioned their labelmates ITZY. Nayeon, Dahyun, Mina, Momo, and Jung Hyung Don did a cover dance of ITZY’s “DALLA DALLA.” Momo awed everyone with her version of the dance.

When asked if they ever forget the choreography of their hit songs, TWICE replied, “We recently did them during our dome tour, so we remember everything.” Jung Hyung Don asked which song had the most difficult choreography, and the members chose “Dance the Night Away.” They explained, “We have to jump around a lot, and we have to pay a lot of attention to keeping up the mood of the dance.”

TWICE also chose their new song “FANCY” has the track with the perfect choreography. Due to their busy schedule, TWICE said they have to get familiar with all the choreography within two to three days before shooting the music video, and added, “We memorize one move per day.”

Jung Hyung Don then asked, “Do you dispute about what to eat on the menu with so many members?” Nayeon said, “We usually follow the members who came up with the menu first. We never fought over the menu because we could always order something else.”

The hosts mentioned that MONSTA X’s meals are between 20 and 30 million won (approximately between $17,497 and $26,245) a month. TWICE shocked them by responding, “These days, we’ve been eating efficiently, but we spent more [than MONSTA X] in the past.”
