Watch: NCT 127 Talk About Artists They Admire, What They Do During Their Spare Time, And More On "Good Day New York"

NCT 127 appeared on the U.S. morning news show “Good Day New York”!

The group is currently in town for their first U.S. concert tour.

During the broadcast, the group talked about various topics, such as the things they did in New York. Johnny revealed some of them went to Broadway and saw “The Vessel.”

After individual introductions, they talked about their upcoming album “We Are Superhuman,” which is dropping May 24. Mark said, “Our main song is ‘Superhuman,’ and it talks about how we want to bring the positive vibe that we all have the potential to be a superhuman and that we all have super powers within us.”

Next, the group shared their favorite artists. Doyoung chose Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish, and Jaehyun mentioned Bruno Mars. Taeyong called out Lil Dicky and claimed, “We love you!” When asked about collaborations, Johnny said that they’re always open to possibilities. He shared, “Just hit us up. We’re always ready to collaborate.”

The host mentioned their collaboration with Jason Derulo, and Johnny said, “We saw the music video come out, and we were like ‘Wow.’ Dance really brings everyone together, and that just really made us excited. We’re so excited about K-pop and pop coming together.”

Then, another host brought up the surprise random play dance in New York City’s Washington Square Park, and the boys raved about having a good time dancing with the fans. Johnny explained, “We were just walking around and people were dancing, and we were hearing K-pop, and we were like, ‘What is going on?’ We went and people were dancing to K-pop, and we were like, ‘Oh, this is the random play dance that we saw on YouTube. We should get in on it.'”

When asked about what they like to do during their spare time, Taeil shared he likes to watch movies and listen to music and revealed they practice most of the time. Johnny elaborated, “We just enjoy practicing with each other because we’re always ready to perform in front of people.”

Jaehyun revealed they usually go through a daily cycle of waking up around 9 or 10 a.m., practicing, eating, practicing again, and sleeping when they don’t have any activities to attend, but when they do have a schedule, their days are different.
