N.Flying Talks About Getting Recognized In Public, Hopes For Diverse Activities, And More

N.Flying discussed their lives after achieving their first win on a music show and ranking high on music charts with “Rooftop.”

On April 24, the group held an interview ahead of their “Spring Memories” comeback. When asked about the pressure they might feel in following up the success of “Rooftop,” the members replied, “We didn’t feel burdened at all. Even in the past, we were more concerned with enjoying our activities with our fans and between the members rather than the results, so we thought we should just work hard as always.”

However, this doesn’t mean that nothing has changed at all. Drummer Kim Jae Hyun happily recounted the times they were recognized in public, saying, “We went to eat blood sausage soup and the people there recognized us as N.Flying. Also, at the kimchi stew place we frequent, they were playing ‘Rooftop’ and asked for our autographs.”

To stay grounded, the members revealed they go by three virtues: mind, common sense, and modesty. Lee Seung Hyub explained, “‘Mind’ represents our strong will, ‘common sense’ is something everyone should have, and we also remind ourselves to be ‘modest’ wherever we go.” Kim Jae Hyun then quipped, “Whenever one of us strays, we yell, ‘Mind, common sense, modesty!'”

Each member also shared what they want to do with the money they will soon receive for their No. 1 on the charts. Yoo Hwe Seung and Kim Jae Hyun both said they wanted to have portraits taken with their families, while Lee Seung Hyub and Cha Hun said they would use it for their parents.

As for their future plans, Kim Jae Hyun stated that he wanted to film a commercial and added, “A lot of people say that we have a special energy, so I want to show more sides to our group not just through music, but also through variety programs and commercials. Wherever it may be, I also want to show the charms of the four N.Flying members.”

Yoo Hwe Seung further commented, “It would be nice to show that we can continue to approach people through music. I want N.Flying to become a group that people can trust to always put out good music.”

N.Flying will make their comeback with “Spring Memories” on April 24 at 6 p.m., and teasers can be found here. The track is composed by Lee Seung Hyub and expresses the various emotions of lovers that are like the different temperatures between seasons. Afterwards, on April 27, N.Flying will meet fans through their concert “N.Flying Fly High Project Note 3: Spring Memories” in Seoul.
