Park Hae Soo, Claudia Kim, And Lee Hee Joon Confirmed For New Mystery Drama

Park Hae Soo, Claudia Kim, and Lee Hae Joon will be joining forces in a new drama!

In “Chimera,” which was previously known under the working title “Chemistry,” a present-day case is found to be related to an explosion and series of murders in 1984 known as the Chimera Incident. The story follows the main characters as they track down the criminal and uncover the secrets between the two cases.

Park Hae Soo is expected to showcase powerful action scenes through his role as Detective Cha Jae Hyun of the Major Crime Investigation Section. Lee Hee Joon will take on the role of doctor Lee Joong Yeob, and Claudia Kim will act as profiler Yoo Jin.

The drama will be led by “The Moon Embracing the Sun” director Kim Do Hoon and “Ex-Girlfriend Club” writer Lee Jin Mae and is reported to have a budget of 13 billion won (approximately 11.2 million dollars).

JS Pictures, the production company behind the drama, stated, “These three actors stand out with their strong acting skills. We look forward to the synergy they will display alongside the director Kim Do Hoon. Viewers can expect an immersive drama of tremendous scale, complete with explosions and chase scenes. “Chimera” is scheduled to air in the latter half of 2019.
