NU'EST Reveals Their Recent Interests, When They Feel Most Handsome, And Their First Place Promise
NU’EST shared what they’ve been up to recently and talked about their plans after coming back as a full group for the first time in three years!
On April 30, the group guested on “Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time” radio show to promote their new song “BET BET.” As soon as they entered the studio, DJ Choi Hwa Jung complimented their visuals. JR joked, “Actually, we call ourselves a visual group,” making everyone laugh.
Choi Hwa Jung asked when the members feel most handsome. Aron said, “When my makeup is finished, I look the most handsome.” On the other hand, Minhyun replied, “I look very youthful when I take off my makeup.” He added, “I look at the mirror the most often among us. I’m trying to gain confidence in my appearance.”
Following this, Baekho explained the concept for “BET BET,” saying that the song has a sexy feel despite its slow tempo. The members picked the choreography in which they get on their knees as the highlight. JR confessed, “One time, Minhyun scraped his knees while practicing the choreography.”
Choi Hwa Jung commented, “You need to start taking good care of your knees. When you get older, you’ll have a hard time.” Her “concerned mother” tone made the whole studio laugh.
NU’EST also talked about their promise if they get first place on a music show. Baekho said, “If we get 1st place, we decided to go on stage in cosplay. During Christmas, we dressed up as trees and as Kevin from ‘Home Alone.’ The response was good that time, so we thought we should do it again.” Ren added, “We sent each other pictures of our costumes, and I think it is worth anticipating.”
The group then discussed their recent interests. Aron boasted about his cooking skills and said he wanted to try making soy sauce marinated crab next. Minhyun revealed his hobby was taking pictures of flowers. He said, “I like yellow flowers. I often upload the pictures I take on my social media and on the fancafe.” Baekho further disclosed how he cut his online shopping addiction. He remarked, “In the past, I would buy a lot of unique products, but now it’s too hard for me to wait for them to be delivered, so I stopped.”
NU’EST made their highly anticipated five-member comeback with “Happily Ever After” on April 29.
