Park Bo Young Puts Her All Into Filming In New Stills From "Abyss"
“Abyss” has revealed new stills of Park Bo Young ahead of the first episode!
The tvN drama, which will begin airing on May 6 at 9:30 p.m. KST, is a fantasy that tells the story of two people who are murdered and are reincarnated with a complete 180-degree change in appearance due to the soul revival stone Abyss. It is the second project that combines the forces of Director Yoo Je Won and Park Bo Young after the success of their 2015 drama “Oh My Ghostess.”
Park Bo Young plays Ko Se Hyun, who transforms from a beautiful elite prosecutor to the world’s most average woman after she dies from a suspicious accident. Together with her best friend of 20 years, Cha Min (played by Ahn Hyo Seop), who is also killed, they try to uncover the secrets of their deaths.
The stills show Park Bo Young on set energetically filming the first episode. She is seen discussing the script with Director Yoo Je Won and running over to monitor after shooting a scene.
Viewers can expect to see an explosion of Park Bo Young’s acting prowess through “Abyss,” which features both comedic and emotional acting, as well as the cute and realistic chemistry between friends in her scenes with Ahn Hyo Seop.
A producer for the drama stated, “Park Bo Young’s passion for ‘Abyss’ showed when she looked at the script and immediately decided to participate. We are putting our minds to showing off Park Bo Young’s multifaced charm that is brazen, spunky, and lovely all at once. As we film, we are convinced that this character is possible because of her. Please see for yourselves in the first episode.”
