YG has revealed that the title track of WINNER’s new EP will be “AH YEAH”!

On May 9, the agency released a warm, beige-colored poster with credits for the title track.

The WINNER members actively participated in creating “AH YEAH,” with Kang Seung Yoon, Song Mino, and Lee Seung Hoon writing lyrics for the song. Kang Seung Yoon also joined musicians Kang Uk Jin, Diggy, and Joe Rhee in composing the song.

“AH YEAH” will be a summer track with a rhythmical guitar riff, as well as a catchy hook that’s representative of WINNER’s musical style.

Member Kang Seung Yoon explained, “I wanted to turn upside down the fact that many breakup songs focus on painful and longing emotions. Breakups are hard and tiring, but bringing a clear-cut end to the relationship like the song “AH YEAH” might lead to a happier ending for both sides.”

WINNER’s new mini album “WE” will be released online on May 15 at 6 p.m. KST.

It looks like we’ll be seeing WINNER soon!

On May 1, WINNER got fans excited with a teaser poster that has their logo and the words “Coming Soon” written on it. As the hashtags include “New release,” it looks like WINNER is gearing up for another great comeback!

This will be WINNER’s first comeback in approximately five months after the release of “Millions” in December 2018. In February, Yang Hyun Suk had announced that WINNER wrapping up recording for their new album. The members have also recently began talking about an upcoming comeback.
